Isobel Kerrigan

Isobel lives in Horsmonden with her husband and four children. She has lived in Horsmonden for eight years and Kent for 20 years. Isobel is a former actress who gained a degree in Law from the University of Kent in Canterbury, trained as a barrister and was called to the Bar in 2002. She now works locally in the not-for-profit sector most notably for the Citizens Advice organisation on countywide issues. She has actively campaigned against the closure of the Horsmonden County Library and been the volunteer coordinator for the local Speedwatch initiative.

Councillor Peter Crawford

Councillor Peter Crawford is married with three grown-up children. He served in the forces, and then ran his own Driving School. Since losing his right leg in 2000, he helps with the Amputee Support Group at Kent and Sussex Hospital. His main priorities on the Council are controls on vandalism and drugs, and access for disabled and older people.

Councillor Hugh Patterson

Councillor Hugh Patterson has been a Borough and Parish Councillor for the last eight years. His main interests are flooding, highways and planning, and he aims to ensure that flood defences are a high priority for the Borough Council. In 2003 he was the lead member in the Council's review of flooding and land drainage issues. Hugh is a teacher and is married to Sandra. They have two young boys; the elder is at Capel School. Hugh and his family live in Five Oak Green and are all active members of the local church.

Keith Brown

Keith Brown served as a Tunbridge Wells Borough Councillor, representing Hawkhurst, between 1994 and 1998. He has been a Parish Councillor for nearly 12 years and was Chairman for six years. Keith was the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Tonbridge in 1997 and Tunbridge Wells in 2001. Living in Hawkhurst and working in the Borough, gives Keith Brown a valuable insight into the needs of Council Tax-payers.

Peter Hillier

Peter has lived in Tunbridge Wells for over twenty years. He also works locally. Peter believes there is not enough youth provision and we do not treat environmental matters seriously enough. He is also concerned about the proposed drastic cuts in the tourism and leisure budgets and argues that not enough is being down to promote Tunbridge Wells to potential visitors, especially on The Pantiles and in the High Street area. Peter would also welcome a more vibrant arts scene in Tunbridge Wells. Peter was previously a Borough Councillor in Park Ward.

Jackie Prance is a hardworking Lib Dem activist and has a long association with Pembury. She lived in the village with her husband Bob for over 15 years before moving to the town and her children attended the primary school. She is an active member of the community and is keen to get stuck in to village issues.

Bob Prance

Bob Prance is married with two grown up daughters who went to schools locally. His interests include the Open University and fund raising for a large local charity. Bob has taken early retirement from a job in finance which he did for over 37 years. He now works part time and is in the final stages of an Open University degree course. Bob is standing for the Borough Council for the first time and wants the opportunity to 'put something back' by promoting the views and aspirations of the people of Rusthall as well as making a positive contribution to Tunbridge Wells, the town where he has lived for over 30 years. He is particularly keen on environmental issues and to see that opportunities, especially for the young, are available for everyone both at national and local level.

Alan Bullion has lived in this area all his life, and went to the Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys. He has worked in publishing since leaving school and gained a first degree and a PhD as a part-time mature student at the Open University. Alan now works for a leading agricultural information publisher based in Tunbridge Wells. His special related interests are the environment, housing, planning and public transport.

Lesley has lived in St Johns for over 30 years, and in TW all her life and is happily married with 2 adult children. She has been actively involved in the local community for many years, and has been an adminstrator and home educator. She still runs a home education group, and also gives advice to many families and is a member of No2ID and the Morris Minor Owners Club, is a school governor and Trustee of Shopmobility. She has been active in the campaign to keep St Johns Post Office open and the Campaign to Save the Homeopathic Hospital. She believes in helping people with whatever they need and whenever they need it, and residents are always wlecome to contact her. She finds her time on the Council has kept her busy but still has time for her many interests including geneology where she discovered that her family have been in St Johns for over 150 years, walking, and is also a compulsive reader and chocoholic.
