Southborough By-Election Latest - Town Centre Development

11.06.26pm GMT Mon 8th Mar 2004

The Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Local Plan Inquiry is frustrating progress on plans to develop the centre of our Town but a strong Liberal Democrat council will strive to be in a position to move forward as soon as the Inspector's findings are made public.

Liberal Democrat candidate Dr Alan Bullion says "If you elect me to the Borough Council I will be pressing the Borough to focus on Southborough and High Brooms, the sadly neglected part of the Borough. It's time our Town had the attention its community deserves."
