Charles Kennedy is the most popular Party Leader

In a recent MORI poll, the approval rating of Charles Kennedy stood at + 8%, while Michael Howard dropped from minus 1% to minus 12% with Tony Blair at minus 31%.

Michael Howard's popularity nose-dived in June

There was more bad news for Michael Howard. The Financial Times reported on the 2nd July that his popularity with voters has nose-dived. They continue that, while Michael Howard retains the goodwill of Conservative party supporters, a gradual decline in his broader public appeal accelerated sharply in June.
