Laura Murphy looks forward to replacing Archie Norman as the next MP for Tunbridge Wells

Lib Dem PPC for Tunbridge Wells Laura Murphy comments on Archie Norman's decision to stand down as MP at the next general election.

"Archie Norman has been unable to conceal his frustration over the years at the way the Tory Party is operating. They have been an ineffective official opposition for too long and recent events indicate they are going backwards, rather than modernising and responding to the society in which we live. The young modernisers with have been sidelined and the old crowd brought back in. It is not surprising that Archie Norman has decided he has had enough. I look forward to replacing him as Tunbridge Wells' MP and wish him the best of luck for the future."
