PPC Laura Murphy and other Liberal Democrats examine proposals for the derelict ABC site

Commenting on the recent discussions about the ABC site, Tunbridge Wells' PPC Laura Murphy said, "It is a scandal that this site, in the very heart of Tunbridge Wells, has been derelict for so long.

I am certain that the Town would welcome, and support, a cinema on this site, together with other entertainment and retail use. To ensure vitality, however, it also requires housing provision and we should not shy away from insisting that there is an element of affordable housing involved."
