Jamie "Having lived in Tunbridge Wells all my life I can represent residents at the County."

Jamie Johnson, County candidate, was out on the streets this week, talking to local residents throughout Tunbridge Wells. Jamie, who has lived in Tunbridge Wells all her life, is well known for her boxing achievements. "It was wonderful to speak to so many people and, being a local, understanding the issues in the area."

Most people were complaining about the state of the roads and pavements in the town. "The Liberal Democrats at Kent County Council are campaigning for a ten year investment plan to improve the condition of roads and pavements. It's appalling that there's a £150m backlog of repairs," she said. "Time and again residents have said their top priority is for more road and pavement repairs but this is not reflected in the Tory administration's actions. The Liberal Democrats will change that."
