The Crundwell Road Community Centre has been given a much needed upgrade, with the provision of full disabled access together with accessible toilet facilities inside the building.

Ten years ago former Liberal Democrat councillor Rob Baldock drew up plans for these renovations and the Town Council got planning approval for them. However, successive Labour administrations failed to implement them. Now under Liberal Democrat control the Town Council has put into action these improvements, financed from its reserves and a £4,000 grant from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
