Jamie will work hard for the local area if elected as a councillor on Thursday 13th September

Furious voters have been turning in growing numbers to the Liberal Democrat candidate in Pantiles and St Marks after it emerged that the election caused by Tory incompetence is costing local tax payers £5000!

Worse still the man responsible for making sure that the former Tory councillor signed her form of acceptance, is non other than Cllr Roy Bullock, the leader of the Borough Council.

"Not only could an experienced councillor not get herself to the Town Hall and sign her name on a piece of paper, the leader of the Council didn't even bother to check up on her! He is as responsible for this ridiculous and costly election as she is" said local Liberal Democrat chairman, Dr Alan Bullion. "If local people vote for Jamie Johnson, they will get a strong local councillor who will actually work for the area, and will care about more than just drawing her council allowance!"

Jamie Johnson has built a strong reputation for campaigning for our area over her many years of living in Tunbridge Wells.

On Thursday, Jamie can take that record of action onto the Council to fight for local people.

As a Councillor, Jamie will work to keep streets clean, and for better recycling. She will fight for action to tackle crime and vandalism. She will campaign to protect and improve our precious open space, and make sure that the views of local traders and residents are taken notice of during the proposed sale of the Pantiles.

Jamie said "I am proud to live locally and want to do my best for our area. There is much to do after years of let-downs from Tory Councillors."
